First Look At Wreck-It Ralph 2s Disney Princess Scene

Anticipation is high for Rich Moore and Phil Johnston's Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2. The first one was a delightfully creative plunge into the world of arcade cabinets and cutting edge video games, showing audiences how animated heroes and villains spend their off time when quarters aren't being plunked in and gamers aren't moving joysticks. In the sequel, Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Venelope (Sarah Silverman) exit the games and enter the Internet, which will expand the types of characters they can interact with. And we now have our very first look at a hilarious scene Walt Disney showed audiences at both D23 and CinemaCon.

Disney has been teasing the scene for a long time now. In fact, we are basically begging the studio to just release it, because the version I saw in Las Vegas at CinemaCon was completely finished, and had me laughing so hard that tears stained my cheeks.

As you can see from the image above, courtesy of Disney_UK's Twitter account, Venelope -- the one-time glitch -- finds herself in a room surrounded by the classic Disney princesses. Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Rapunzel... they're all, well, somewhere. It isn't made clear where this meet-up takes place, or why. But Venelope is introducing herself as a princess, and trying to figure out what makes these ladies tick. What follows is a steady stream of hysterical conversations that get to the root of the Disney Princess model, while also poking fun at the history and legacy of these iconic roles.

There's also a brilliant swipe at Pixar that will have Brave fans recoiling from a verbal slap.

In Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2, the loveable anti-hero escapes from his realm into the World Wide Web, allowing him to cause fresh havoc on a whole new range of destinations. In an earlier trailer, we saw teases of Ralph interfering with sites like Amazon, or online-based games that make kids very, very sad:

Ralph Breaks the Internet is poised for a bountiful release date, holding on to that Thanksgiving slot that usually brings in huge family audiences looking to burn off calories by laughing at something together in the big screen. In years past, Disney has had great success opening Coco, Moana and Frozen in similar slots, so even without the buzz coming off of the first Wreck-it Ralph movie, I think I'd bet big bucks on this one being a major hit.

Now, Disney, please release this clip in full, as it is EXTREMELY funny, and the longer that fans hear about how funny it is without actually seeing it, the higher their expectations are going to be for the actual clip. Wreck-it Ralph 2 opens in theaters on November 21.
