Tom Holland Had Trouble Working With One Marvel Actor On The Set Of Avengers: Infinity War
Avengers: Infinity War looks appealing for many reasons, but one of the more fun aspects of the ensemble film is seeing the vast array of actors together for the first time onscreen. One actor who is relatively new to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and hasn't had a lot of interactions with its members is Tom Holland. Having Spider-Man in the MCU is a dream for many fans, and it must have been a blast for the young British actor to work with all of these stars. But Tom Holland actually had trouble working with Chris Pratt on set. It turns out, the actor who plays Peter Quill is simply too funny, as Tom Holland explained:
Working with Chris Pratt was pretty awesome. He is so funny, he's so fun, and he has such great stories about his career and about the industry, and he's also just super talented, you know? I found it quite difficult, because he would make me laugh so much. He's the man, I absolutely love him.
As if there was any doubt, Chris Pratt is seemingly every bit as fun and hilarious in real life as you would expect and hope he would be. It's probably a bit intimidating for Tom Holland to work with all of these older, famous actors, and while he said they were all welcoming, having someone like Chris Pratt around has to be helpful. Chris Pratt's stories about the industry were also probably instructive as Tom Holland sees his own star continuing to rise. Of course, having Chris Pratt being Chris Pratt while you are trying to act is probably somewhat challenging. Although it actually makes sense that a teenager like Peter Parker would be quite amused by the ridiculous Star-Lord. I think it's safe to say that the scene in the trailer where Peter Parker is smirking as Peter Quill and Tony Stark debate plans is genuine amusement, no acting required.
Speaking to Hey U Guys, Tom Holland seems to be a huge fan of Chris Pratt, and it looks like the two may share a fair amount of screen time together. The more we see of Infinity War, the more it becomes clear the groupings this movie will feature. With no buildings to swing from in a Wakandan field, it doesn't look like Spider-Man will be venturing to Africa, even though Tom Holland would like to see his character meet Shuri. Instead, Spider-Man looks like he will be joining up with Iron Man, Doctor Strange and yes, Star-Lord for some other mission in New York and beyond. That's what's so cool about this shared cinematic universe; we will finally get to see the Guardians of the Galaxy interacting with Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and all the humor and conflict that arises from those meetings.
