Why Falcon Probably Won't Die In Avengers: Infinity War, According To Anthony Mackie

Big things are coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the upcoming release of Avengers: Infinity War, and much of that may have to do with the fact that we will eventually say goodbye to some classic characters. Death pools have already started for some of Marvel's most beloved heroes, but now actor Anthony Mackie seems to think that Falcon is completely safe from being killed off because of his ability to fly away from the danger. In a recent interview, the Detroit actor explained:

I think Falcon falls into 'you're totally safe,' because I fly. So the fact that I fly puts me above all the danger. So I can just grab Cap and get outta there, whereas if you're the Winter Soldier, you're done for, man. You're in the thick of it, there's no way outta that.

So, while everyone is getting his or her hands dirty down in the Battle of Wakanda, Falcon stands apart because of his ability to soar above the action and shoot down at the army sent by Thanos (Josh Brolin). If things get too hairy for The Avengers, all he would have to do is swoop down to pick up Captain America (Chris Evans) and get out of danger while everyone else gets killed. It's a morbid thought for sure, and according to Mackie to what Mackie told Chris Van Vliet, it doesn't necessarily bode well for a foot soldier like Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). Those guys really don't like each other yet, do they?

That's not to say that Falcon hasn't found himself in danger at various points in time. Ever since the character's formal introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe back during the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, he has consistently found himself on the frontlines of some significant battles -- including instances in which his flight rig has stopped working. If Falcon maintains his ability to fly when the fight for the Infinity Stones kicks into high-gear, then logic would dictate that he will remain safe, but we will have to wait and see if that holds true in the chaos of the looming war.

Of course, even with these remarks, none of this changes the fact that the potential character deaths in Avengers: Infinity War remain total mysteries to us. Anthony Mackie hasn't explicitly confirmed or denied any definitive character moments, though he also made sure to joke that he will be happy as long as Marvel kills off Spider-Man. If nothing else (and as unlikely as that seems), this further reinforces the fact that Tom Holland is basically the younger sibling that the rest of Marvel likes to playfully make fun of from time to time.

Marvel will show us whether or not Falcon is genuinely safe when Avengers: Infinity War premieres in theaters on April 27.

Adam Pally Reveals The Fate Of His Iron Man 3 Character After Avengers: Infinity War

SPOILER WARNING: The following article contains massive spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War**. If you have not yet seen the film, please bookmark this page, and return after your screening!**In the wake of Avengers: Infinity War, half of the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are dead -- and while we know about some of the survivors and departures, there are hundreds if not thousands of fates currently unknown. This includes individuals like Gary, the cameraman played by Adam Pally who assists Tony Stark in Iron Man 3... and while Avengers 4 may not tell us what happened to him, we now have answers directly from the actor:

I do think that Gary's survived the snap. And that's what I've been pitching to Marvel - is that there's no one left. Why not have Gary don that Iron Man costume? Robert [Downey Jr.] has not called me back. Neither has Joe and Anthony Russo, but I'm not discouraged.

We still have a few months left to wait in order to learn about the full fallout from Avengers: Infinity War, but I'm doing legwork trying to find answers between now and then. I had this in mind when I sat down with Adam Pally and Vanessa Hudgens this past weekend during the Los Angeles press junket for Dog Days, and did what I could to learn as much as possible. At the end of my interview I asked Adam Pally about Gary's status post-snap, and he revealed the answer, noting that not only is the guy doing well, but that he's even angling for superhero status now that half of the Avengers are dead.

For those that don't remember, Adam Pally's Gary the cameraman is introduced toward the end of the second act of Iron Man 3, operating a news van outside a beauty pageant. He is an obsessive Tony Stark fan -- going as far as to model his look after the guy and even get a tattoo of his face -- so he is naturally beside himself when he discovers that Tony has high-jacked his equipment. Rather than being upset, he instead does everything he can to help, and winds up leading Iron Man to Miami where the hero has his showdown with Aldrich Killian a.k.a. The Mandarin (Guy Pierce). We haven't seen him since, but his apparently wasn't one of the lives taken when Thanos snapped his fingers with the fully-loaded Infinity Gauntlet at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

While it sounds like Adam Pally might not be one of the many actors who will ultimately populate the screen in Avengers 4, one never knows what may happen -- especially since Pally has history with Joe and Anthony Russo, who produced his sitcom Happy Endings. We'll just have to wait and find out, and in the meantime take the actor at his word that Gary survived.

Noah Centineo, shirtless wonder and current Netflix heartthrob is killing it in terms of new projects right now. You can catch him all over streaming right now thanks to Netflix catching on early that the 22-year-old star was something special.

Noah Centineo is expanding out in the next year, too, in various big screen projects. His future looks bright, as hes expected to appear in the Charlies Angels reboot that has already filmed. This morning, it was also mentioned hes in talks to play He-Man lead Prince Adam in a new movie project that is just getting off the ground. Plus, he has yet another Netflix rom-com, The Perfect Date, set to hit Netflix in April of 2019. That one will even take him out of high school and into college!

While the He-Man role is unconfirmed for now, if it happens it would be a big deal for Noah Centineo, as it would mark the actor branching out even further from his TV and streaming roots. While we wait to find out more about the actor's growing career, there are plenty of projects out there if you cant get enough of Centineo right now. Sierra Burgess Is A LoserSierra Burgess Is A Loser is one of Netflixs many entries into the high school rom-com genre. This one is actually kind of also about catfishing and sisterhead, as its biggest plotline is arguably more about the relationship between Shannon Pursers Sierra and Kristine Froseths Veronica than it is about boys.

Caught in the middle is Noah Centineos Jamey, who plays football and thinks hes into Veronica when hes really into Sierra. Or some hybrid of them both. Ill leave you to figure out where the rest of that story goes.

[email protected] has had an interesting history. Originally, it appeared as a web series on go90, but the platform is now-defunct. Season 3 actually moved to Hulu, which means you can catch Noah Centineo on multiple streaming platforms these days.

The FostersWhile Noah Centineo has actually been acting since he was a kid, his actual big break was in The Fosters, a Freeform TV series that ran for five seasons before ultimately getting cancelled back in 2018 after a three-episode finale aired. On the show, Centineo played major character Jesus Adams Foster, but dont fret if you start watching streaming the drama on Netflix and dont see hide nor hair of the actor.

Thats because Noah Centineo actually joined The Fosters in Season 3, taking over for Jake T. Austin. The latter actor eventually revealed he left the Freeform drama due to how much screentime he was getting. Centineo didnt have the same probably and ended up playing the character until the shows conclusion. If you've been a fan of Centineo since his Freeform days, bravo, you were probably on to the actor's charm well ahead of most people reading this list.

Good TroubleThere's even better news, because The Fosters has a new spinoff called Good Trouble focusing on foster siblings Callie Adams Foster and Mariana Adams Foster after they relocate to Los Angeles. How does Noah Centineo factor in? Thanks to his film and Netflix work, he's not a lead in the Freeform spinoff. However, he is in Season 1 of the new 2019 series, and yes, he's shirtless once more in his Good Trouble debut, which happened back in February. If you've wanted to know what Jesus has been up to since The Fosters wrapped, you should definitely check the new series out.

Good Trouble has already been renewed for Season 2, so hopefully we'll get the chance to catch up with Jesus some more--especially given Centineo is only credited for two Season 1 guest starring eps. Although, it should be noted that since Season 1 is still currently airing, it could be some time before we get the chance to see more from the actor on the cable channel series. Catch up on those episodes with Hulu.

To All The Boys Ive Loved BeforeIf you are well aware of the Noah Centineo heartthrob, theres a good chance you caught him first in To All The Boys Ive Loved Before. This was the actors breakthrough role on Netflix and the one that has made Noah Centineo a household name--at least in some households. Plus, back in December the subscription streaming service announced the film will be getting a sequel, so this isn't the last we've heard from these characters.

To All The Boys Ive Loved Before already used some of the story from Jenny Hans popular book sequel P.S. I Still Love You. However, thats not a half-cooked title and were hoping the sequel sticks with the name, and Noah Centineo as Peter, of course. All of Jenny Han's books in this particular series focus on Lara Jean and Peter's complex relationship as they keep pushing forward toward adulthood, so I would assume Centineo will be back for round 2.

Thanks to finding firm footing in the acting biz on streaming services, its likely well be seeing much more of Noah Centineo whether or not his big screen ventures work out. Either way, you should have plenty of projects to indulge in for now and we'll keep you updated regarding any other projects the actor ultimately signs on for.
